This page explains how to delete a GroupsHunter account and what is deleted.
Deletion is permanent. It removes the account and the personal data we are not legally required to keep. It is not a temporary deactivation.
1. How to delete your account
Write to support@groupshunter.com from your account email and ask to delete your GroupsHunter account. We will verify the request and start deletion. Never send passwords.
Want to delete only some data? In Settings > Data management you can delete all chats, all tasks or all memory yourself, and in Settings > Facebook accounts you can remove a Facebook account.
2. What we delete
We delete the sign-in, profile, preferences, chats with the agent, memory, tasks, opportunities, saved groups and other personal data tied to the account.
We disconnect and delete the Facebook accounts you connected and their sign-ins. The Facebook accounts themselves, and the groups you joined, stay on Facebook.
3. What we may keep
We may keep records we must keep for tax, accounting, dispute or legal reasons, such as invoices. We keep them only as long as the duty lasts, then delete or anonymize them.
Backups are deleted in the normal backup cycle.
4. How long deletion takes
We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request and confirm by email when it is done. If a legal duty requires us to keep a record, we will tell you what remains and why.
5. Subscription and billing
Deleting your account also cancels a paid subscription. Refunds are described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
